Nairobi: Man charged with attacking court officer, escaping from police custody

A Nairobi-based businessman was on Thursday arraigned at the Makadara Law Courts and charged with obstructing court officer and escaping from a lawful custody.
The accused; Mustafa Mwalim Ali, was charged that on September 28 this year at Sagal Apartment in Nairobi's Eastleigh area he obstructed a court officer who was serving him with a court order by throwing stones to him.
In the second count the prosecution alleges that on the 29th of September this year at Pangani being arrested for the offence of obstructing court officers, he allegedly escaped from the said custody.
He pleaded not guilty.
