Godfrey Mwikhali is one of the latest winners of Ksh.500,000 courtesy of Jipange Na Viusasa promotion.

Mwikhali, who works as a ‘houseboy’ in Nairobi, could not hide his happiness when he received a call announcing him as the weekly winner of Ksh.500,000.

“I always had a feeling that I would win, and that’s why I kept buying video packages on Viusasa. Today my prayers have been answered,” said Mwikhali.

A jubilant Mwikhali, who is originally from Western parts of Kenya, tagged along his son to the Viusasa offices – when he came to pick his cheque.

“My son is in secondary school and I was already falling behind in school fees. I intend to use part of the money to clear his school fees,” said Mwikhali who is also a musician – and plans to use part of the money to record Luhya music for his listeners.

Mwikhali is one of the seven weekly winners who have so far pocketed Ksh.500,000 each courtesy of Jipange Na Viusasa promotion.

“I would like to tell those that are yet to win that Jipange Na Viusasa is real. Keep trying and your day will come,” said Mwikhali.

“If I can win, then anyone can win in this promotion. I didn’t believe I would be the lucky winner,” said Mwikhali who is also a gospel musician.

But how did he do it?

“I bought a video package of Ksh.100 on a Wednesday. This was after I watched Viusasa awarding the previous week’s winner live on Citizen TV. I was hopeful that I would win, and I did. I thank God for this win,” said a visibly happy Mwikhali.
