Missing 5yr-old Narok girl was molested, murdered: police

A five-year-old Narok girl who went missing has been found dead in Oloombogishi village.

Her mother said she prepared her daughter for school on Tuesday and expected her to return home in the evening.

However, as night drew near, the girl was still nowhere to be seen.

The mother asked neighbours and teachers to help her find the little girl.

They found her body on Wednesday in a thicket.

Narok East Sub County Police Commander Benjamin Mwanzia said officers were called to the scene where they found blood oozing from her private parts.

They moved the body to hospital and have begun investigations to find out the cause of the death.

No arrests have been made so far.
