Migori: Probe as student's body found in a pond

Police in Migori are investigating the death of a Form Three student whose body was found in a fish pond.

Eugene Ngonya, a student at Luoro Secondary School, went missing on Sunday.

Uriri Police Commander Bashir Ali stated that the student's body was discovered the following morning.

“The body of the deceased was discovered by the learners who were going to school in the morning,” Ali said.

Ali added that they are yet to establish what transpired before his death, adding that the matter is under police investigation pending autopsy.
