Meru Central Dairy Cooperative Union: A Journey of Growth and Transformation

The Union recently welcomed CIC Insurance Group Managing Director & CEO, Mr Patrick Nyaga, and his delegation to its new Maziwa Millers Ltd facility in Mitunguu.

The delegation was hosted by Meru Central Dairy Cooperative Union CEO, Mr Kenneth Gitonga, before proceeding to the Meru Dairy factory for engagements with the Union’s management team and Executive Board.

The visit provided an opportunity to showcase the Union’s operations, growth journey and continued investment in the dairy value chain.

A key highlight was the recognition of Meru Central Dairy Cooperative Union’s remarkable 28-fold growth over the past 13 years.

The milestone reflects the hard work, resilience and vision of the Union’s leadership, staff, cooperative societies and farmers.
