Sharon Mato and Monica Paul were on target as Trans Nzoia Falcons downed Kisumu Allstars 3-1 at the Kenyatta Stadium in Kitale to extend their winning ways in the Women Premier League.

The result takes Falcons tally for the season to 50 points, four clear of second-placed Thika Queens who have a match in hand.

Sharon Mato was however the toast for the Falcons bagging a brace while Sylvia Akinyi found the mark for the Kisumu All Starlets in the second half as Monica Paul scored another in the second half with 10minutes left to seal the win.

Falcons headed to the match without the services of Maureen Khakasa and Martha Amunyolete who are in camp with the national team Harambee Starlets as they prepare for the Africa Women Cup of Nations (AWCON).

Elsewhere , at the Eldama Ravine Stadium, Makolanders thrashed Baringo Starlets 4-0 to jump to position six  on the 16 team WPL log.
