Man killed in accident along Kisii-Keroka highway

The deceased, identified as Clinton Tanchi, was riding from Kisii towards Keumbu when he was struck by an unidentified vehicle whose driver fled the scene.

According to a police report, the motorcyclist sustained fatal injuries in the collision, prompting well-wishers who arrived at the scene to rush him to a nearby private hospital for emergency medical attention.

However, he was pronounced dead on arrival.

His body has since been transferred to the mortuary at Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital pending a postmortem examination.

Meanwhile, police have launched investigations to establish the circumstances surrounding the accident and track down the runaway driver.
