Lupita Nyong'o, a Kenyan-born Hollywood A-lister, arrived in style at the Oscars 2022 red carpet, wearing a gilded Prada gown with sequins, paillettes, and beaded bloom burst.

She accessorized the gown with De Beers diamond jewelry, which added a touch of glitz.

Despite the fact that all of your favorite celebrities were dressed to the nines, it was Ms Lupita's look that stole the show and turned heads.

It is beyond dispute that her Prada gown was a work of art, with the 39-year-old actress, despite not being nominated for anything this year, ensuring she still won--at least on the red carpet.

Lupita, who is known for her hair styling, pulled another trick out of her sleeve, stealing the show in a textured updo inspired by African figures in classical Greek art, according to her hair stylist Vernon François.

“The asymmetrical, hand-sculpted shape echoes the floral design in Lupita’s dress while elongating her neckline,” Vernon told the vogue.

It would be sacrilegious not to mention her make-up, because: Wueh!

Lupita wore gold leaf-pressed lids and a rich ruby red pout with a gold glimmer in typical Oscar gold color, all while keeping it subtle.

This isn’t the first time Nyong’o and Prada have worked together. When she won an Oscar in 2014, she wore a baby blue custom Prada gown that became instantly famous as soon as she stepped onto the red carpet.

The Kenyan-born actor was also, quite by chance, a part of the Chris Rock-Will Smith feud memes that quickly went viral.

Lupita was photographed and videotaped in disbelief after Will Smith, who won the best actor Oscar for his role in "King Richard," appeared to slap the comedian in the face.

Lupita can be seen, wide-eyed and stunned, as Smith yells at Chris Rock to keep Jada Pinkett (Smith's wife) out of his (expletive here) mouth in several videos and photos that have gone viral.
