Leopards claw Mail Men to close gap, Shabana down Tusker

AFC Leopards would open the scoring in the 11th minute against Posta Rangers through Kelly Mdada as his shot on the edge of the 18-yard box would fly into the top corner for the hosts at Nyayo Stadium.
Ten minutes after Kayci Odhiambo would finish calmly
following Samuel Semos expertly taken corner kick putting some daylight between
the Ingwe and Posta Rangers.

Bandari would go ahead in the fifteenth minute with Captain
Andrew Juma firing home capitalizing on Bandaris initial flurry of
opportunities against Muranga Seal in the opening 20 minutes.
After the half time break Muranga Seal would enter the
second half with renewed energy as ten minutes into the half top scorer Joe
Waithera would fire home dragging them level.
On the seventy-minute mark Muranga Seals main man would
strike again dribbling expertly past Bandari defenders before slotting past
Alaine Ngeleka for his second of the evening.
However, Bandari roared back into the lead in the final ten
minutes with goals in the 81st and 86th minute from Geoffrey Ojunga and Shariff
Majabe respectively to snatch all three points in the dying embers of the game.
Elsewhere, Shabana edged Tusker 1-0 at the Gusii stadium in
a tightly contested encounter.
The lone goal of the game came in the 39th minute as Brian
Michira’s effort was deflected off of Thomas Teka for an own goal ultimately
spelling defeat for Julius Mette in his debut as Tusker Head coach.
Nairobi United returned to winning ways in emphatic fashion,
running away 3-0 victory against lowly Bidco United.
Mustafa Kizza stunning goal would set the stage for a
convincing. January signings Kevin Wangaya and Benson Omalla would both round
off the scoring in the second half as Wangaya capped off an impressive debut
getting onto the scoresheet.
Nairobi United sit 9th on the table with 28 points whereas Bidco continue to languish at the foot of the table in 17th with 16 points 3 away from safety.
