Leiser Hill crowned Kajiado champs

Leiser Hill Academy are the new Kajiado County boys’ secondary school soccer champions after a 5-0 win against Mashuuru Boys High School in the thrilling finals played at Kimana Primary school in South Kajiado.
Leiser Hill, who were narrowly knocked out last year by 1-0
loss to Christ the King, booked their place in the final this year after
beating Kajiado Township 3-1 in the semi-finals.
The new champions will now fly the Kajiado County flag at
the upcoming Rift Valley Regional games in Pool D.
They will face St. Anthony Boys from Trans Nzoia County,
Olmelil Secondary school from Narok County, and Kamoi Mixed secondary school
from Elgeyo Marakwet.
In the girls’ category, defending champions Christ the King
extended their dominance with a 3-0 Victory over Moi Girls Isinya to secure
their spot at the regional level.
Earlier, the defending champions had thrashed Elerai Girls
4-0 in the semi-finals to book their place in the final.
In rugby, Leiser Hill again were crowned champions after
beating Dawamu School 19-5. In the girls’ category, Ilasit Secondary School
emerged winners after defeating Rombo Girls 7-0.
In volleyball games Kajiado South Based Ilkisonko boys and
Romber Girls were crowned champions in boys’ and girls’ categories respectively
Both the boys’ and girls’ teams from Leiser Hill will
represent Kajiado County in basketball after clinching victory in their
respective categories.
All winners across the different categories will now head to
Narok County from July 7th this year to represent Kajiado in the Rift Valley
Regional games.
