Kwetu Nairobi recognised among world’s best hotels by Tripadvisor

Kwetu Nairobi, Curio Collection by Hilton has been named among the top one per cent1 of listings globally after winning Tripadvisor’s Travelers’ Choice Awards Best of the Best for 2026.

The award is the highest honour in Tripadvisor’s annual awards programme and recognises establishments that rank among the most highly rated on the travel platform based on reviews and opinions from its global community.

According to Tripadvisor, the 2026 Best of the Best winners were selected from genuine feedback submitted by travellers who visited the properties and shared first-hand reviews over a 12-month period.

Kwetu Nairobi General Manager Alexandre Glauser said the recognition reflected the experiences of guests and the commitment of the hotel’s staff to delivering quality hospitality.

“Being named among Tripadvisor’s Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best 2026 is incredibly meaningful to us because it reflects the experiences and voices of the people who matter most: our guests,” Glauser said.

He thanked guests who had reviewed the property on Tripadvisor, saying the recognition was a reflection of the team’s commitment to its hospitality philosophy, “Our Place, Your Home.”

Glauser said the hotel was honoured to be counted among travellers’ favourites and dedicated the award to both its guests and staff.

Tripadvisor Group Chief Communications Officer Laurel Greatrix congratulated Kwetu Nairobi, saying earning a place among the top percentage of listings worldwide was a significant achievement.

“Earning a place among the top percentage of listings globally is no small feat. It reflects the lasting impression made on travelers who took the time to go online and leave a glowing review about their experience,” Greatrix said.

Tripadvisor said its Best of the Best awards serve as a guide for travellers seeking highly rated destinations and experiences around the world, with the 2026 recognition expected to further raise Kwetu Nairobi’s profile among international and local travellers.
