Kwale: Motorcycle theft suspect arrested at Lunga Lunga

Police have arrested a 23-year-old man suspected of motorcycle theft while allegedly attempting to cross into Tanzania through the Lunga Lunga border in Kwale County.
The suspect, identified as James Kengo Joto, was arrested while in possession of a Haojin motorcycle bearing registration number KMHB 072H, which police believe is linked to a reported theft.
The motorcycle has since been taken into police custody as an exhibit as investigations continue.
Joto is being held at Kubo Police Station in Shimba Hills and is expected to be arraigned in court on Tuesday.
Police are also pursuing another suspect who allegedly escaped during the incident. Investigations are ongoing as officers work to establish the circumstances surrounding the alleged theft.
