The court order follows an application by NCIC which says that the process of resolving the case out of court was still ongoing

The MP appeared in court today for the mention of his hate speech case before Senior Principal Magistrate Enock Cherono

The Law Society of Kenya (LSK) had sued him over the remarks although the MP has offered to make an apology in major daily newspapers.

The National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) had asked Kuria to personally call a news conference and apologize publicly for the comments regarded as hate speech

Kuria is out on a Ksh. 5m bail which was extended to the next mention date.

In his last court appearance at the Milimani law courts, the prosecution obtained “gag orders” barring him from making further inflammatory comments on his Facebook page after he made comments about the killings in Wajir.

The MP has published an apology in today's newspapers for the comments he made saying he will be championing national cohesion among the various communities.
