Police in Nyando Sub-County in Kisumu County are investigating the stabbing to death of a 32-year-old man in Rabuor area.

According to a police report, the deceased was among youths who had attended a relief food distribution exercise at Hongo Ogosa Primary School.

However, about 400 metres from the school, a disagreement reportedly broke out among the youths, resulting in the incident.

Police said the deceased was attacked with a sharp object and sustained two deep cuts to the head, one on the forehead, two stab wounds to the chest and two more on the buttocks.

Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) visited and processed the scene as investigations into the motive behind the attack got underway.

The body was moved to the Ahero Sub-County Hospital mortuary, where it awaits an autopsy.
