The Kitale-based side wrapped up their campaign with a 2-1 victory over Trans Nzoia All Stars at Ndura Sports Complex, but attention has now shifted to preparations for the next level of competition.
Head coach Yohana Wanyama reflected on the team's journey, describing the season as one that tested the players' resilience after a difficult start.
"It was not easy for us because we lost our first match, but we reorganised ourselves, improved our tactics and from there things started working for us. It has been a good season," said Wanyama.
The coach acknowledged that the campaign had its challenges but expressed gratitude for the support the team received throughout the season.
"It has been tough, but we are happy with what we have achieved. God has helped us secure a place in the National Super League and I want to thank our fans for standing with us throughout the season," he said.
Wanyama also highlighted the football talent available in Trans Nzoia County and said the team would continue working hard as they prepare for the National Super League.
"Kitale is a home of talent and we will continue training and preparing well for the challenges ahead in the NSL," he added.
Team captain Caleb Elima echoed the coach's optimism, saying promotion is only the beginning of the club's ambitions.
According to Elima, the players are determined to make an immediate impact in the National Super League and eventually earn promotion to the Football Kenya Federation Premier League.
"We will do our best in our first season in the NSL and try to reach the Kenya Premier League. With determination, courage and confidence, everything is possible," said Elima.
The FKF Division One League serves as the third tier of Kenyan football, with promotion to the National Super League bringing clubs one step closer to the country's top-flight league.
With promotion secured, Kimanini Combined will now focus on strengthening the squad and preparing for their debut campaign in the National Super League.
