Kiambu: Three members of the same family die in road accident

Three members of the same family died on Thursday after the car they were traveling in collided with another at Farmers Corner area in Limuru, Kiambu County.

The family was reportedly traveling from a funeral in Nazareth heading towards Limuru when the driver of their vehicle failed to negotiate a corner and collided with another car.

The wreckage has since been towed to the Tigoni Police Station as authorities embark on investigations.

Locals are now asking the government to erect bumps on the Limuru-Nazareth stretch up to Kiambu road since it has so many sharp corners leading to frequent accidents.

They have also asked the government to put up signboards to enlighten road users about the condition of the road and what to expect ahead.
