Kenyan musician and producer Sellanga Ochieng, better known by his stage name Blinky Bill, has expressed his excitement after his song dubbed ‘Bado mapema (Simama)’ was featured in new Netflix movie ‘Look Both Ways.’

Blinky Bill took to his Twitter account to post a short video of the part where the song is incorporated in which American actress Nia Long, who plays Lucy in the movie, is seen dancing to it.

He additionally thanked the film's director, Kenyan filmmaker Wanuri Kahiu, for including his works in her Hollywood debut.

“Seeing your friends achieve their dreams is beautiful, congrats Wanuri on your Hollywood debut. So so proud!!!” He wrote on Instagram.

“Thank you for bringing me along…That's love! So cool to see Nia Long groove to Bado Mapema in #LookBothWays, my year is made”

Wanuri Kahiu’s ‘Look Both Ways’ film follows the story of Natalie, an aspiring artist who is standing on the edge of her life the night before graduating from college.

From there, the narrative takes two different turns as the audience witnesses what might have been in both scenarios.

The comedy-drama also featured stars like Luke Wilson, Danny Ramirez, David Corenswet, Andrea Savage, and Aisha Dee.
