Kenya Police confidently dispatched Bandari FC 2-0 at the Police Sacco Stadium as they continued to gather momentum at the tail end of the season.

The hosts started brightly in the opening ten minutes, with Abud Omar coming close in the eighth minute, only to see his curling effort pushed wide by the Bandari goalkeeper.

Their positive start paid off in the 14th minute when Erick Zakayo squared the ball to Yves Koutiama, who tapped in from close range to hand the Enforcers an early lead and extend his impressive scoring run.

Kenya Police maintained the pressure in search of a second goal while remaining solid at the back, determined to keep Bandari at bay and secure their 11th clean sheet of the season.

A largely controlled second half saw the coach make changes in the 70th minute, withdrawing goalscorer Yves Koutiama alongside David Ambulu and Edward Omondi. They were replaced by Clinton Kinanga, Ambrose Sifuna and Tobias Otieno.

The substitutions proved effective, and just six minutes later, Jacques Ndecket rose highest to head home Erick Zakayo’s corner delivery, all but sealing the three points for the reigning FKF Premier League champions.

The comprehensive 2-0 victory lifts Kenya Police to fourth place on 37 points in the standings, while Bandari drops to seventh with 32 points following the defeat.
