The event, which will be held at Friends Secondary School Kongoni from 12 noon, will bring together a number of senior government and political leaders from across the country.
National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang'ula and President William Ruto's aide Farouk Kibet are expected to lead the delegation.
Other leaders scheduled to attend include Kakamega Governor Fernandes Barasa, Senate Majority Leader Aaron Cheruiyot, Kakamega Deputy Governor Ayub Savula and several Members of Parliament allied to the government.
The leaders will be hosted by Likuyani MP Innocent Mugabe.
The boda boda empowerment programme is expected to focus on supporting riders through the issuance of equipment and other initiatives aimed at strengthening the sector, which remains a major source of employment for thousands of young people.
The gathering is also expected to provide a platform for the leaders to address residents on the government's development agenda and other national issues.
