Ulinzi warriors head Coach William Balozi says they
will be looking to avenge their first leg defeat against Lakeside when they
host them at Nyayo Gymnasium in the men basketball premier league.
Ulinzi are currently second on the standings with
three games of the regular season left to go. Lakeside are eight places adrift
in tenth.
“We have to win especially after they defeated us in
the first leg. A win will give us a higher chance of finishing top of the
regular league standings. We have trained well and we are focused,” Balozi
said.
Ulinzi begin their weekend action against EMYBA on
Saturday before playing Lakeside the following day.
On his part, Lakeside head coach Dismas Oketch said
this weekend will be one of their toughest weekends as they play Equity on
Saturday before facing Ulinzi on Sunday.
“It’s going to be tough but if we beat Ulinzi at home
I don't see anything that should stop us from doing the same on the road. We're
going to put up a fight, because we need to win more than they do,” Oketch
said.
