Narc-Kenya party leader Martha Karua has faulted the Inspector General of Police over the invasion of Northlands City, a property owned by the Kenyatta family.

According to Karua, Koome failed to take action when goons invaded the property of former President Uhuru Kenyatta but “deploys police to block and tear gas lawful demonstrations.”

She further faulted the National Police Service (NPS) for “behaving as if the constitution has been suspended” saying “they must be reminded that each person bears personal responsibility for their acts or omissions.”

“It’s up to NPS to demonstrate to Kenyans whether they maintain law and order or countenance goons to cause destruction and injury,” she added.

On Monday, while anti-government demonstrations took place in Nairobi, a group of goons attacked Northlands City, a property located along the Eastern Bypass in Nairobi, Ruiru.

They were seen cutting trees and stealing hundreds of livestock from the farm.

The invaders also set the property on fire, burning trees inside.

A similar incident was seen at East Africa Spectre Limited – a property owned by Azimio leader Raila Odinga – where they pelted stones before fleeing away on motorbikes.
