Kamau elected Kenya Amputee Football Federation chairperson

Kenya Amputee Football Federation (KENAFF) held their inaugural elections today at Nyayo National Stadium boardroom.

The election which was conducted by the Independent Election Board Panel with the presence of an advocate, saw Hashim Kamau clinching the chairperson position, Benard Odhiambo Ongondo 1st Vice chairperson, Richard Chitechi Ombela taking the 2nd Chairperson position, Stanley Mmbasu Mukoyoni bagged the Secretary General deputised by Liz Akinyi Amolo.

Other positions contested included Treasurer position, Organising Secretary position, Player representative, Gender representative which were bagged by Rose Ochieng’, Dismas Kuyiyi, Brian Oroka Ochieng’ and Mildred Ambogo Amurega respectively.

The election was done in a consensus way was positively accepted by all members.

Chairperson elect, Hashim Kamau in a statement urged the newly elected team to work together.
