Juma chosen over Marin as Leopards Head Coach

Tom Juma has been appointed to lead AFC Leopards for the remainder of the 2017 Kenyan Premier League (KPL) season as Head Coach.
The former captain’s ascent to the most exacting job at the Den confirms the exit of Dorian Marin who was odds on to replace immediate former Head Coach, Stewart Hall.
Up until the decision was reached, the Juma or Marin debate tore Leopards’ National Executive Committee (NEC) into division with those against the much-travelled Romanian arguing he had little knowledge of the club’s ‘ways’.
The Romanian who led Leopards to heavy defeat at the Super Cup final against eternal rivals Gor Mahia FC before settling for a barren stalemate against Mathare United on his KPL debut was yet to formalize his agreement with the club before he fell out of favour.
