Judiciary extends jobs application deadline to November 12

In a press statement on Thursday, JSC attributed the move to high traffic and congestion in the systems and the need to give
every Kenyan an opportunity to apply.
“Members of the public to note that the application portal will re-open on Monday, 8th November 2021 and will close at 5 P.M on Friday, 12th November 2021. Those who submitted their applications before the original deadline should not re-apply,” read a section of the notice.
According to the Commission, the application came to an end on October 29, 2021, where it stated that more than 60,000 applications had been received.
The jobs advertised in the Judiciary on 8th
October 2021 included;
1 Senior Public Affairs and Corporate Communications officer
(JSC Secretariat)
500 Court Assistants
30 Drivers
1 Risk Management Officer
1 Senior Electrical Engineer
1 Senior Mechanical Engineer
1 Senior Civil Engineer
4 Quantity Surveyors
4 Superintended of Works
10 Charge Hand
While appreciating all the applicants who have taken the initiative
to apply for the jobs, the commission promised to uphold the rule of law while undertaking the process.
"The commission wishes to take this opportunity to thank Kenyans for their interest in working with the Judiciary and to assure them that the recruitment will be undertaken in accordance with the principles and processes in the Constitution and the Judicial Service Act," read the notice.
