Jeff Koinange is back!

News Anchor Ayub Abdikadir, who had been hosting the show during Jeff’s absence, warmly welcomed him back, the pair sharing light-hearted banter about his long break, with Jeff joking that some fans had even gone as far as to “kill him” online through wild speculation.

Ayub opened the show with Jeff’s signature flair, saying:

“And tonight, we reconstitute the three letters that follow each other on the keyboard… J, K, and L.”

Jeff, walking onto the set to applause and laughter, declared:

“I’m back… like I never left. It’s great to be back.”

Still joking about the online rumours surrounding him, he quipped:

“Walikua wameniua… how? How?”

Ayub then playfully asked Jeff to confirm whether “his house was in order.”

Jeff then took his place on the iconic JKL bench, even testing the show’s signature fire extinguisher in true JKL fashion.

For his comeback episode, Jeff hosted what he fondly calls “the best political tag team on TV” - Prof. PLO Lumumba and Dr Barrack Muluka, marking a spirited return to the screen.
