Israeli Embassy Commits Support to MLIFE Foundation's
Education, Health, and Agricultural Initiatives in Kenya Israel Ambassador to
Kenya, Michael Lotem, received a courtesy visit from Kenyan US-based humanitarian
and MLIFE’s CEO Mwangi Mukami to discuss areas of potential partnerships
including education, regenerative
agriculture, and healthcare initiatives in Nairobi, Muranga, and Kiambu Counties.
Ambassador Lotem welcomed MLIFE’s Foundation team to the
Israeli Embassy to discuss their
collective endeavors, explore synergies, and exchange ideas on transformative
projects that benefit the local communities.
In health, the Israeli Embassy pledged its support to
provide technical expertise and access to cutting-edge medical equipment for
MLIFE’s newly established MBH Medical Center in Kiambu County, ensuring that
low-income residents can access world-class healthcare facilities and services.
The partnership will harness Israel’s renowned medical technology
to drive positive health outcomes and close health disparities.
Mwangi briefed the Ambassador about their education program
initiative that empowers children in Kawangware, Kibra, and Mathare through the
4Cs program to read critically, think creatively, write clearly, and speak
confidently.
The Embassy of Israel, renowned for its thriving innovation
ecosystem, expressed its commitment to sharing knowledge, promoting skill
development, and fostering technological advancements in collaboration with MLIFE
Foundation.
This collaboration aims to empower the local youth and equip
them with the tools needed to thrive in the modern world.
“By harnessing Israel's expertise in education, cutting-edge
technology, and entrepreneurship, the partnership will unlock the full
potential of Kenya’s young minds, igniting a spark of innovation and driving
economic growth,” said Mwangi.
Ambassador Lotem commended MLIFE’s new initiative to promote
regenerative agriculture to address food insecurity and pledged the embassy's
support to provide technical assistance and access to Israel’s technology in
water harvesting and replenishing the soil.
