Police are investigating an incident in which a 3-year-old boy was electrocuted while playing on their family's balcony in Kayole's Nyando neighbourhood.

Witnesses said the three-year-old was electrocuted by live wires near their house on Tuesday evening.

According to the boy's aunt, she left the child playing on the balcony when she was alerted by screaming children who claimed the boy had fallen off the balcony.

Njiru area DCI boss Simon Waithaka Njiru confirmed the incident, as family members demanded justice, claiming that live wires had been left dangling at the house.
