‘I was married at 19 and divorced:’ Huddah reveals her biggest life secret

There are many things that Kenyan showbiz lovers associate socialite Huddah Monroe with, and marriage just isn’t one of them.

The controversial socialite-cum-entrepreneur has now come out to reveal her biggest life secret: that she was actually previously married.

The Huddah Cosmetics boss, taking to her Instagram stories on Thursday night, disclosed that she got into a union when she was only 19, and stayed on for 4 years before leaving.

Huddah said she resolved to divorce her then husband, before they ever sired a child, because he was addicted to drugs.

“I was married for 4 years at 19, we didn't have a child and I divorced. Coz the man was a drug addict! I wasn’t famous so I didn’t need to advertise it,” she said.

“So I speak from experience. Not mocking y’all. That’s my biggest secret.”

The news is bound to shake the internet, as Huddah has in the recent past aired some controversial remarks about marriage.

She, however, this week disclosed that she is in a stable relationship with a Tanzanian man whom she is soon set to wed.

Huddah however denied reports that the said man is Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, with whom she has been spotted getting cozy after the successful release of his music video in which she was the star vixen.

"Jux and I are just friends. We are not dating.  So if it does come off like we are dating I'm sorry…More importantly we are business partners We have been doing business for a very long time, it's just that we have never put it online,” she told Tanzanian media outlets.
