The Dockers easily dismissed Zetech Sparks 70-39 at USIU Grounds last weekend to maintain their league summit with 17 wins from as many matches with 34 points in the standings.
Zetech Sparks, meanwhile, remain on 27 points after 19 matches, having registered eight wins and 11 defeats.
Ocholla praised his side for executing the game plan despite a late venue change and credited the players for their discipline throughout the contest.
"We had a very good weekend. The game went according to plan, and the girls played exceptionally well. We had prepared for about a week, and despite the venue being changed from Nyayo to USIU just a day before the match, we adjusted very well.
“Our transition game was excellent, we executed our offensive sets effectively, and that is what enabled us to secure such a convincing victory,” said Ocholla.
The KPA tactician also lauded his squad's depth after the Dockers managed the victory despite missing three key players on national team duty.
"Despite missing three of our players, two who are away with the national 3x3 team in Glasgow, Scotland, and one with the national Under-18 team in Cairo, Egypt, we still managed with a lean squad of only nine players. Our rotation was well executed, and every player stepped up and fulfilled their role despite the limited numbers."
With the playoffs fast approaching, Ocholla said his team's focus remains on finishing the regular season unbeaten before reclaiming the national title.
"We keep moving forward and preparing for the next game. We have about six or seven games left before the playoffs, and our mission is to finish the regular season unbeaten, secure a top finish in the standings, and reclaim the national championship by bringing the trophy back to the Port of Mombasa.
So far, everything is going according to plan, and we will continue preparing as we await our next fixtures."
