HFC Limited picks Peter Mugeni Oduori as new MD

Housing Finance Group banking subsidiary HFC Limited has named Peter Mugeni Oduori as its new Managing Director with effect from November 17.

Mr. Oduori who has had previous stints with Stanbic Bank Kenya Limited and its Standard Bank Group parent company, is an insider at HF Group where he has been serving as its Director of Credit.

He is expected to replace Regina Anyika who has been serving as the lender's Managing Director in acting capacity since the exit of Sam Waweru in early 2019.

Mr. Oduori is a seasoned banker with over two decades of experience in leadership, credit risk management and operations.

He holds a Bachelor’s of Commerce degree- Finance Option and a Master of Science in Finance- Banking Option from the University of Nairobi.

Mr. Oduori is expected to report to the Housing Finance Group Chief Executive Officer Robert Kibaara.
