While making the announcement on their Instagram page, Sol Generation revealed the signing of the music star, writing, "Welcome to the family...Kenyan Singer-Songwriter and Producer, Mordecai 'DEX' Mwini has officially joined Sol Generation Publishing, on a 3 Year Deal."

A prolific singer-songwriter whose artistry has blossomed over time, Mordecai Mwini began his career as a passionate poet, painter, fashion enthusiast, and skilled guitarist, eventually evolving into a sought-after music producer.
He is also an active and founding member of the multi-award-winning Kenyan Afropop group, H_Art The Band.
Drawing inspiration from a diverse range of genres while staying true to his rich heritage, he has honed his craft over the years, creating a unique sound that transcends borders.
Driven by his extensive portfolio and unwavering passion for music, Mordecai shared his expertise at Sauti Academy, Safaricom Twaweza Live, and Tusker NEXTERS.
He also lend his skills as a songwriting coach at Sauti Academy and a performance coach at Twaweza Live, where he worked with renowned Kenyan talents like Nyashinski, Naiboi, Bensoul, and many more.
The celebrated singer-songwriter's impact extends beyond the stage - He frequently collaborates and writes songs for established artists while also mentoring aspiring musicians.
He also recently served as a performance coach for the just concluded Press Play Artist Development Program by Sol Generation.
