Popular vernacular gospel musician Loise Kim has joined the the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) as she seeks the Kiambu County Woman Representative seat. 

The musician cast her die on Monday, with DP Ruto taking to social media to welcome her  with the ceremonial yellow UDA cap. 

"Proud to welcome gospel award-winning musician Loise Kim to the Hustler Nation. She is an aspirant for the Kiambu Women's Representative position," DP Ruto Tweeted. 

At least six women drawn from Kiambu county have lined up for the Kiambu County Member of parliament seat as the race to the August polls heats up. 

They include Emma Wangari alias Mama Mwiko, Mary Kirika, Njeri Bakari and former Kiambu TNA coordinator Gladys Chania.

Kiambu Deputy Governor Joyce Ngugi and notable motivational speaker Ann Wamuratha are also reported to be eying the position.

The sitting county MP Gathoni wa Muchomba who vacates the seat in seven months has already set her sights  on the Githunguri Constituency seat.
