Githunguri: Verification of documents to start as members of ranching company seek title deeds

Members of Githunguri Ranching Company in Ruiru, have expressed joy as they draw closer to finally receiving title deeds.
This follows the commencement of the review and validation exercise of their documents on Monday.
The four-day exercise is being conducted by the Kiambu county government in partnership with the National Land Commission (NLC) and the Ministry of Lands.
The exercise is expected to be completed on Friday.
The director of land survey of Kiambu county, Isaac Njuguna, explained that the exercise is planned to check and verify the documents of the thousands of Githunguri ranching members.
He said that it was agreed that a single registry be created to ensure that members receive their title deeds.
The 54-year-old land buying company has over 5,000 members.
