Francis Miano appointed as KTDA's acting Group CEO
Eng. Francis Miano appointed as KTDA's Acting Group Chief Executive Officer.

In a statement, the KTDA Holdings board said Eng. Miano will take up the role following the exit of Wilson Muthaura, who has proceeded on terminal leave.
Eng. Miano is a registered professional engineer and a corporate member of the Institution of Engineers of Kenya. He brings more than 30 years of executive experience to the position and is currently in charge of the Group Technical Services Division at KTDA.
The board said his extensive experience and deep institutional knowledge position him well to steer the agency during the transition period.
The board also expressed its appreciation to Muthaura for his service to the organisation.
“The Board expresses its sincere appreciation to Muthaura for his dedicated service to the organisation and wishes him well in his future endeavours,” said KTDA Holdings Chairman Chege Kirundi.
KTDA Holdings oversees the management of Kenya’s smallholder tea sector and plays a central role in tea processing, marketing, and related services across the country.
