Four escape lynching in Kericho over alleged witchcraft

Four people have escaped death by a whisker over allegations of practicing witchcraft in Kericho County.
Irate members of the public descended on them with kicks and blow at Ngoina Road trading centre in Bureti.
It is reported that the four had rented houses in the area only for locals to to flush them out.
"They had pitched tent in this area, ready to conduct their business. We are totally against such ill motives," a resident said.
The move follows complaints from residents who had paid them a visit in order to have their 'problems addressed' by the four.
"We did not get value for our money. The charms and concoctions given to us failed to work," a distraught local added.
Police officers attached to Ngoina Road police post rushed to the scene and rescued the victims.
The four were taken to Roret police station for questioning.
