Fortune Sacco striker Collins Mwangi has set his sights on ending the National Super League season on a high by clinching the coveted Golden Boot award.

‎‎Mwangi, who tops the league's scoring charts with 23 goals, is determined to add to his tally when Fortune Sacco face MCF in their final match of the season on Saturday.

The prolific forward had challenged himself to score 27 goals before the start of the campaign and believes he still has a chance of reaching that milestone despite needing four goals in the season finale.

‎‎Mwangi expressed confidence in his ability to find the back of the net and finish the season as the league's leading scorer. His impressive form has played a significant role in Fortune Sacco's campaign and has attracted interest from clubs seeking attacking reinforcements.

‎‎"You never know, anything might happen on Saturday. I believe I can do better and score." He said.

‎‎The race for the Golden Boot remains competitive, although Mwangi holds a comfortable advantage. Migori Youth striker Syphas Otieno is his closest challenger with 20 goals, while Equity's Athuman Rashid sits third on 17 goals.

‎‎The striker revealed that he would welcome an opportunity to play in the FKF Premier League if the right offer comes his way.

‎‎"We have played our part, driven the team up to where it is right now. I like challenging myself, and I'm ready for a new challenge because I'm still young." He added.

‎‎Among his ambitions is a dream move to Kenyan champions Gor Mahia, a club he has long admired. He also hopes to one day secure a move to Switzerland and test himself in European football.

‎‎Mwangi disclosed that he has already received an offer from Kator FC but intends to assess the proposal carefully before deciding on his future.

For now, however, his immediate focus remains on helping Fortune Sacco finish the season strongly and ensuring he walks away with the NSL Golden Boot.

‎‎With one match remaining, all eyes will be on the league's leading marksman as he seeks to cap off a remarkable season with more goals and potentially open the door to greater opportunities in his football career.
