The airline is re-entering the sector amid growing demand for local air travel, driven by increased economic activity across counties, government mobility, and a busy calendar of business and social events nationwide.
Head of Fly 748.com, George Oduor, said the carrier has streamlined its operations to better align with current market needs.
“We have refined our operations to ensure reliability, affordability, and convenience remain central to our service,” said Oduor.
The airline’s initial flights operated from Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to Mombasa and Ukunda, with plans to expand its network based on demand.
748 Air Services Chairman Ahmed Jibril said the relaunch reflects confidence in the domestic aviation sector’s growth prospects.
“Kenya’s demand for safe, affordable air travel continues to grow, and we are positioning ourselves to meet that need,” he said.
Managing Director Moses Mwangi said the airline aims to strengthen domestic connectivity and support travel demand across regions.
“Our focus is to connect more destinations and support movement for business, tourism, and trade,” he said.
The airline said it is targeting improved scheduling and booking systems as part of efforts to enhance service delivery and rebuild passenger confidence.
The relaunch comes as domestic travel patterns shift, with increased use of air transport linked to county-level events, tourism activity, and investment forums.
