Fire destroys two dormitories at Machakos Boys School

Property of unknown value was razed down by a fire that destroyed two dormitories at the Machakos Boys High School.

The Friday morning fire razed two dormitories which host 107 and 170 students respectively.

The school principal Kahi Indimuli said the cause of the fire has not been established and that there were no injuries reported.

He said the fire was extinguished by the Machakos County fire brigade.

Police from the forensic department has started an investigation, with the school's principal calling for an emergency board meeting to chart the way forward.
