Family Bank CEO Rebecca Mbithi exits after 5-year term

Family Bank Chief Executive Officer Rebecca
Mbithi, has left the institution after a five-year term at the helm.
In a statement to newsrooms, the medium-sized lender said Mbithi exited the role to pursue other personal interests.
Mbithi has served as the Managing Director
and CEO since 2019. She previously served the bank as the Company Secretary and
Chief Legal Officer.
She is credited with steering the bank
through a turbulent season that included the COVID-19 pandemic.
The bank announced the appointment of Nancy
Njau as the new Managing Director and CEO pending regulatory approvals.
