The milestone marks an important chapter in the growth of Faiba Mobile and reflects the continued confidence and trust customers have placed in the brand since its launch.
Speaking of this milestone, Jamii Telecommunications Limited (JTL) Chief Commercial Officer, Mobile Business, Isaac Kennedy Muthama, said the milestone demonstrates the growing confidence customers have in Faiba Mobile.
“Reaching one million subscribers is a significant achievement for Faiba Mobile, but more importantly, it reflects the trust our customers have placed in us. We are delighted to celebrate this milestone by recognising the customer who became our one millionth subscriber. This is our way of saying thank you for choosing Faiba,” Muthama said.
Moegi said he did not expect the achievement, but termed it a memorable experience.
“I am really excited to be Faiba Mobile's one millionth subscriber. I never expected to receive such a reward, and I am grateful to Faiba for recognising me. The smartphone and data will definitely come in handy,” Moegi said.
The one-million-subscriber milestone comes as Faiba Mobile continues to strengthen its market proposition through affordable voice and data solutions designed to give customers value, flexibility and convenience.
In May, Faiba Mobile unveiled a new range of mobile services aimed at strengthening its position in Kenya’s competitive telecommunications market through more customer-focused and flexible offerings.
The new strategy, dubbed “Raha Jipe,” was designed to enhance value, improve customer experience, and offer subscribers products tailored to different lifestyles and usage patterns.
The new range included flexible data bundles, integrated voice and data packages, call-focused plans, short-term unlimited internet options, and group-sharing bundles designed for families and small groups.
The company also introduced customisable bundle options, allowing subscribers greater control in tailoring services to their specific usage needs.
The Faiba milestone comes amid intensifying competition in Kenya’s telecommunications sector, where operators are increasingly rolling out innovative products to attract and retain subscribers.
