Dumas will face Stanbic Shields on Sunday at the Nyayo Gymnasium, looking to bounce back after suffering defeats in their opening two fixtures against Nairobi City Thunder and ANU Wolfpacks last weekend.
Lubarov admitted the results were disappointing but pointed to steady progress behind the scenes.
“Our operation has been strong and focused. The intensity in our practices has been good, and the group remains committed to improving every day.
“We’ve had a slow, rough start to the season, and we’re obviously disappointed with the results during those first two games. We’ve seen some clear glimpses of the level that we’re capable of; our focus in training has been making those moments of brilliance repeatable.”
The tactician now wants his charges to translate that progress into a full performance on game day.
“My main expectation is to execute our game plan and focus on what we can do best. We expect it to be competitive, and we want to find a way to have our most complete game of the season so far, and make sure that we’re constantly taking steps forward to improve.”
Sunday’s encounter presents an early opportunity for Dumas to reset their campaign and secure their first win of the season.
Equity Dumas have strengthened their squad ahead of the new season with the acquisition of five players as they look to mount a strong title challenge.
The bankers have secured the services of Marol Achei and Job Byron from Umoja, adding depth and versatility to their roster.
They have also signed Williams Olang from Clique Mamba, Denis Koja from Strathmore Blades, and Rodney Sande from Zetech in what signals a clear intent to reinforce key areas of the team.
Meanwhile, the club has parted ways with two players. Herve Pongballe has completed a move to Umoja, while Deng Kout has secured a transfer abroad to Indonesia.
The new arrivals are expected to inject fresh energy and competition within the squad as Equity Dumas prepare for the upcoming campaign.
