Equity Dumas head coach Joseph Lubarov has expressed confidence in his team's readiness ahead of a demanding weekend schedule in the National Men's Basketball Premier League.

The Bankers will take on ANU Wolfpacks on Saturday before facing Eldonets Platinum on Sunday at Nyayo Gymnasium in Nairobi, with the two fixtures presenting an important test of the side's title credentials.

Equity head into the double-header buoyed by an impressive 84-72 victory over Strathmore Blades at the USIU Grounds last weekend.

The result continued a strong run of form that has seen the Bankers emerge as one of the league's most consistent teams this season.

Speaking ahead of the weekend clashes, Lubarov said the team's preparations have gone according to plan and believes the players are ready to handle the challenge of back-to-back games.

"Training has been very positive this week, and I feel like we're ready to head into this weekend with two tough games, specifically back-to-backs. We're coming off a strong win against a good Strathmore side last weekend and have seven wins in our last nine games. We want to keep building on that momentum going forward,” Lubarov said.

The coach noted that maintaining the standards that have driven the team's recent success will be crucial as they seek to collect maximum points from the two encounters.

With form and confidence on their side, the Bankers know that another successful weekend could provide a significant boost in their pursuit of league honours.
