Eldoret family appeals for help to find missing 10-year-old deaf son

A family in Langas Village in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County, is in search of their missing 10-year-old kin who has hearing impairment.

According to the family, the minor - Fred Muhamed - went missing while playing at a shopping centre near their home.

The matter was reported to Langas Police Station in Eldoret October 16 by the child’s mother Mercyline Kemunto, but the family is yet to unravel any leads that would resolve his disappearance.

Fred's uncle John Osogo pleaded with the public to help the family search for their child and pass any information on Fred to the nearest police station. 

“Tumejaribu kuulizia mtoto ako wapi hatujampata so tulikuwa tunataka kusaidiwa…mtoto mwenyewe alikuwa amevaa t-shirt ya red na crocs zinakaa red ivo,” said Mr. Osogo.
