EldoHub has been named the SME Innovation & Incubation Champion of the Year at the 3rd Annual Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA) SME Conference, Awards and Exhibition, in recognition of its role in supporting entrepreneurs and strengthening Kenya's small business ecosystem.

The annual conference, held under the theme "Beyond Survival: Building Smart and Resilient Businesses," brought together policymakers, financial institutions and business leaders to discuss solutions to the challenges facing micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), including access to finance, technology adoption, skills development and market linkages.

Receiving the award, EldoHub Chief Operating Officer Margaret Yebei said the recognition reflects the organisation's commitment to helping entrepreneurs build sustainable and competitive businesses.

"We are incredibly proud of this recognition. Our goal has always been to help entrepreneurs move beyond simply surviving to building businesses that thrive. Winning the SME Innovation & Incubation Champion of the Year award is a testament to the dedication of our team and the resilience of the entrepreneurs we work with every day," she said.

Discussions at the conference also focused on creating an enabling business environment, with stakeholders calling for policies that encourage business formalisation while improving access to financing, digital tools and strategic partnerships.

EldoHub said the recognition reinforces its role in supporting startups and small businesses through innovation, incubation programmes and collaborations designed to bridge gaps between entrepreneurs, investors and industry.

The organisation added that it will continue expanding programmes that equip entrepreneurs with the skills, networks and opportunities needed to build resilient businesses and contribute to Kenya's economic growth.
