In the latest case, businessman Shukri Hassan is said to have been picked by people believed to be state agents from Fedha Estate.
It is alleged that Shukri Hassan was taken by armed individuals who were driving a black Prado while within Fedha estate in Pipeline. His alleged abduction was captured by Surveillance cameras as the men in plain clothes handcuffed him and drove away with the 33-year-old businessman, never to be seen again.
"CCTV inaonyesha vizuri akichukuliwa na watu wako na bunduki, pingu na hao ni polisi…," said a resident.
Hanafi Mohamed, a businessman in Eastleigh, added: "Ile enzi tuko sahii tunahukumiwa na katiba…so tunaomba kama iko kesi ako nayo, aletewe na awajibike kwa court."
The protesters gave the State 24 hours to release the father of four, and if he was arrested over any offence produce him in court
Even as the family continues with the search for their kin, Interior CS Kipchumba Murkomen says a special DCI unit has been constituted to probe the growing cases of abduction within the busy estate.
"The DCI is carrying out a robust probe into all those cases of alleged abduction in Eastleigh. We also have those cases of people who are non-Kenyans and are foreigners, and they have no documentation, and we have deported them back to their countries because they are aliens," said Murkoemn.
Shukri becomes the fifth victim to have been abducted within Eastleigh in the last month.
