EACC detectives raid Governor Wamatangi’s home

Detectives from the Ethics and Anti-corruption Commission (EACC) on Tuesday raided the home of Kiambu Governor Kimani Wamatangi.
According to EACC, they authority is investigating embezzlement of public funds and conflict of interest in Kiambu County.
9 other senior county officials were also taken in on Tuesday.
The governor and other county officials were then taken to EACC headquarters for grilling on their involvement in the embezzlement of the funds.
