Faiza Hussein and her baby daddy DJ Shiti's family drama continues to boil over several days after she called out the comedian for parental negligence.

Faiza on Thursday evening shockingly made it public that she had decided to hand over her daughter to her father - a move that caught many by surprise.

A regretful Faiza said she had no intentions of giving up on her daughter, but that the move had been important for her mental wellbeing.

“I had no intentions whatsoever to ever give up on my daughter but whatever I have been through, I have decided to give the father his kid. This is very tough but a necessity,” she wrote on her Instagram stories.

"I just hope that she grows into an amazing human and may she forever know that this decision is out of my love for her.”

Later, Faiza shared that she has been battling depression and went on to delete all of her Instagram posts.

“Depression is real,” she wrote.

An unfazed DJ Shiti later took to the photo-sharing app to confirm the news, nonchalantly posting: "Twende zetu waingo, Mariam Auma sister ya Alvin Dede. Ukakule ma Sh150 (Never mind, let's go home Mariam Auma, sister to Alvin Dede. You'll enjoy more Sh150),”

Over the last week or so, the actor and content creator has been embroiled in an online spat with Faiza over claims that he was not financially supporting his baby's mother and that the last money he sent in upkeep was Ksh.150.

DJ Shiti has however denied all the allegations, through a song conveniently dubbed ‘Drama za Mama Mariam.’
