Detectives investigating the discovery of a severely mutilated body abandoned at Lang'ata Cemetery on October 31, 2024, believe the murder was committed by the same suspect as the Eastleigh murders.

According to detectives, Hashim Dagane Muhumed, the primary suspect in the tragic murders of a mother, her daughter, and her 12-year-old niece in Eastleigh, is also linked to the woman's murder.

Following leads from key evidence discovered at the crime scene, detectives tracked down the victim to a Quickmart supermarket in the city, where CCTV footage captured her shopping on October 29, 2024.

Investigators later confirmed that after shopping, she went to a flat in Lavington, where she was again captured on CCTV as she entered the building.

Detectives have since discovered that she was accompanied by Dagane, who lived in the flat.

They spent time together there, and on October 31, 2024, Dagane was seen on surveillance cameras leaving the apartment carrying two bags.

Investigators suspect the bags contained the victim's remains, which were discovered later that day at Lang'ata Cemetery.

Following the incident, the flat owner allegedly cleaned the premises, repainted the rooms and went into hiding.

Authorities are actively looking for him and believe he will be apprehended and questioned soon.

The victim is believed to be Deka Abdinoor Gorone, who was reported missing at the California Police Station on October 24, 2024.

Forensic analysis is underway to confirm her identity.
