An autopsy on the body of the late lawyer Paul Gicheru was concluded at the Lee Funeral Home on Friday.

Despite the day-long exercise led by Government Pathologist Dr. Dorothy Njeru, the preliminary results were not disclosed.

Homicide detectives from the directorate of criminal investigations present during the exercise said the findings were inconclusive and that samples would be taken to the government chemist for further analysis

Lawyers representing the family led by John Khaminwa accompanied the family to witness the postmortem examination.

The body of Gicheru, who faced charges of interfering with witnesses at the ICC, was found in his house in Karen on September 26, 2022.

In Initial reports, the family said Gicheru was found unconscious on a couch in the bedroom with people present in his house at the time.
