The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has launched a manhunt for a key suspect in a case of Stealing by Servant, following a theft incident reported this month.

According to the DCI, Alosi Rodgers Ochieng' and several accomplices broke into the accounts office of their institution and made away with cash and valuables estimated to be worth millions of shillings.

The incident is reported to have occurred during the month of May 2025.

Following the discovery of the theft, investigators noted unusual behaviour among the suspects.

"On detection of the theft, Rodgers and his partners in crime holed up never to show up at work," according to the DCI statement.

The case has been assigned to the DCI's Serious Crimes Unit, which has been conducting preliminary investigations. Their findings have reportedly placed Ochieng' at the scene of the crime.

The DCI is appealing to members of the public who may have information regarding the suspect's current location or any details that could assist in his apprehension.
